Georgian President congratulates Van der Bellen on re-election as Austrian President

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Monday congratulated Alexander Van der Bellen on his re-election as Austrian President.

In her tweet, Zourabichvili said, “Austria and Georgia are close friends bound by a strong relationship that continues to grow and I am convinced we will continue this positive path.”

Austrian President Alexander Van der Bellen secured a second six-year term in office on Sunday by winning a clear majority of votes.
