Georgian President congratulates Petr Pavel on winning Czech presidential elections

Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili on Sunday congratulated the ex-NATO general Petr Pavel on winning the Czech Republic’s presidential election.

In her tweet, the President said: “I wish you success and look forward to working with you on deepening Georgia-the Czech Republic relations founded on our common European values.”

Former army chief and ex-NATO official Petr Pavel won 58.3% of the vote, defeating ex-premier Andrej Babis.
