Georgian, Polish PMs hold phone call over Ukraine

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and his Polish counterpart Mateusz Morawiecki reviewed the security environment in Eastern Europe and the ongoing military actions in Ukraine during their phone call on Monday.

Garibashvili thanked Morawiecki for supporting Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity and European aspirations, according to the readout of the Government Administration.

In a call, Garibashvii said, “Georgia has applied for EU membership, and support from allies in this process is crucially important. Georgia is counting on Poland’s support on this path.”
