Georgian, Polish FMs hold phone conversation

Georgia’s Foreign Minister, Ilia Darchiashvili, held a phone conversation with his Polish counterpart, Radoslaw Sikorski.

During the call, Minister Darchiashvili congratulated Sikorski on his appointment and expressed readiness for close cooperation to deepen ties between the two countries.

The Polish FM congratulated Georgia on obtaining the EU candidate status, acknowledging the country’s efforts and progress.

The talk emphasized the significant importance of the Eastern Partnership format for Georgia’s integration with Europe.

The ministers discussed various aspects of cooperation between Georgia and Poland in bilateral and multilateral contexts.
