Georgian PM to nominate new Minister of Education

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili will name a new Minister of Education and Science.

The meeting in the government administration will take place today at 2 pm, the Georgian Government’s Strategic Communications Department reported.

Mikheil Chkhenkeli has held the post of Education Minister since 2019. Giorgi Amilakhvari, the chair of the Education and Science Committee in the Georgian Parliament, is anticipated to take his office.
