Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on Thursday echoed the addresses by Foreign Ministers of Estonia, Iceland, and Lithuania to an anti-transparency rally in downtown Tbilisi, saying their presence “will negatively affect both these nations’ and the EU’s image.”

Kobakhidze hopes that “in the future, we will not see such frivolous acts”.

Icelandic Foreign Minister Thórdís Kolbrún R. Gylfadóttir, Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis, and Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna addressed the protesters against the ‘draft law on transparency of foreign influence’ on Wednesday.
