Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili Wednesday offered his condolences to the relatives of the victims of the Texas school shooting, saying “we are devastated to hear news about the terrible mass shooting in Uvalde elementary, Texas.”

Garibashvili said Georgia stands together with American people in this time of grief.

“Let me express our deepest condolences and sympathy on my and all Georgians’ behalf to the families of deceased and injured,” the Georgian PM Tweeted.

19 children and two teachers have died in a shooting at Robb Elementary School – which teaches children aged seven to 10 – in the city of Uvalde before the 18-year-old suspect was killed by law enforcement.
