Georgian PM meets with Chinese Ambassador

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Zhou Qian, the Chinese Ambassador to Georgia.

According to the Government Administration, the Prime Minister extended his condolences for the devastating earthquake that struck Tibet, killing more than 120 people in a 7.1-magnitude event. He wished for a swift recovery for those injured.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister and the Ambassador discussed the positive dynamics of trade and economic relations in accordance with the Georgia-China strategic partnership agreement, as well as opportunities to deepen bilateral relations between their respective peoples.

Both parties expressed their commitment to further enhance result-oriented cooperation.
