Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has met with his Spanish counterpart Pedro Sanchez within the scope of his visit to the Kingdom of Spain.
Bilateral relations between Georgia and Spain, Spain’s support for Georgia’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, European and Euro-Atlantic integration were in focus. Spanish PM pledged to continue support in this regard, the government’s press service reported.
On top of that, the parties reviewed pandemic-related challenges. Spanish Prime Minister vowed to continue Georgia’s support in the fight against the pandemic.
The parties stressed that the economic cooperation between Georgia and Spain should further deepen.
“I invited my colleague Pedro Sanchez to Georgia. We agreed on holding a business forum shortly so that Spanish companies can become more interested in Georgia’s business climate,” PM Garibashvili underscored.
