Georgian PM meets Secretary of Security Council of Azerbaijan

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Ramil Usubov, Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Government Administration reported.

The parties discussed matters pertaining to the bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan. The importance of stability and lasting peace in the region was underlined at the meeting.

The conversation touched on the strong strategic partnership between the countries alongside regional projects.

The Head of Government thanked the Azerbaijani side for its unwavering support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. In addition, Georgia’s strong support for the territorial integrity of the Republic of Azerbaijan was pointed out.

The meeting was attended by Vakhtang Gomelauri, Secretary of the National Security Council/Interior Minister of Georgia.
