Georgian PM meets President of Türkiye

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Recep Tayyip Erdogan, President of Türkiye.

The Head of Government extended his sympathy to Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the victims of the recent earthquake. As Irakli Garibashvili pointed out, Georgia was standing by the friendly people of Türkiye, ready to provide any assistance necessary.

“The participation of Georgian rescuers in efforts toward the elimination of the consequences of the earthquake and in rescue operations, and the humanitarian assistance provided by Georgia, were emphasizes at the meeting in Ankara,” reads the statement.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan thanked Irakli Garibashvili for rapid assistance provided at this difficult time.

The PM wished strength to the Turkish people and a speedy recovery to those injured.
