Georgian PM meets President of Cyprus

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met the President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, in Reykjavík, Iceland.

The meeting mainly addressed the significance of EU candidate status for Georgia and the country’s progress on the EU integration path.

The parties accentuated the cooperation dynamics between the two countries and expressed readiness to continue prolific cooperation within multilateral formats of international organizations, including the Council of Europe.

The Georgian Prime Minister holds bilateral meetings within the CoE’s 4th Summit of Heads of State and Government.
