Georgian PM, King Felipe VI of Spain to open int'l tourism fair in Madrid 

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and King Felipe VI of Spain will open the International Tourism Trade Fair FITUR-2021 in Madrid where Georgia participates as a partner country, Georgian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Spain, Ilia Giorgadze, said on Wednesday.

PM Garibashvili will hold meetings with his Spanish counterpart Pedro Sanchez and the President of the Spanish Congress Meritxell Batet, Ambassador noted.

“Spain strongly supports Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic aspirations, most importantly, it strongly backs Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Therefore, this visit will further deepen friendly and good relations with the Kingdom of Spain,”  Giorgadze underscored.

PM Garibashvili is paying a visit to the Kingdom of Spain on May 19-20.
