Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili held a farewell meeting with the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Japan to Georgia.
The discussion at the meeting touched upon the existing relations between Georgia and Japan and the prospects of cooperation between the two countries.
The Head of Government of Georgia thanked the Japanese diplomat for his work during his service in Georgia and wished him success in his future work.
It was noted at the meeting that over the past years, Georgia and Japan have made significant progress in various areas of bilateral relations, including politics, economy, culture and education.
It was emphasized that the Government of Georgia wants to continue efforts to further deepen friendly relations and cooperation between the countries.
