Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia.
According to the government’s press office, the parties focused on the relations between Georgia and Armenia and prospects of future cooperation. Emphasis was placed on the importance of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum.
“It was noted that the discussions held at the forum will create a solid foundation for deeper cooperation in the future. Matters of regional cooperation were discussed. The need for peace and stability in the region was underlined. The conversation touched on matters of economic cooperation. The importance of further developing the close trade and economic ties between the countries was emphasized,” reads the press statement.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan is visiting Georgia within the scope of the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum.
