“We are looking at the dialogue between Azerbaijan and Armenia with great optimism. I want to express hope that Armenia and Azerbaijan will soon sign a peace agreement, which will promote and strengthen the peace in the region,” said Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili during a joint press point with his Armenian colleague Nikol Pashinyan.
As Garibashvili said, Georgia has consistently advocated for regional peace and stability.
“We have always been and continue to be ready to make our contribution to this long-term peace-building effort, which will benefit all nations and peoples in the region,” the PM asserted.
Georgian and Armenian Prime Ministers on Friday signed a memorandum on strategic partnership.
