Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili on Sunday extended his condolences to the family and friends of Georgian linguist, political and public figure Nodar Natadze, the government administration said.
“I am saddened by the passing of Nodar Natadze, celebrated linguist, political and public figure of Georgia.
He left a special mark on the path of the state reconstruction and made a significant personal contribution to this great cause by signing the Independence Act of Georgia. Nodar Natadze was a person who remained faithful to his principles until the very end of his life. He will thus serve as an example and role model for many generations.
My condolences go out to his family and friends,” the head of the government stated.
Nodar Natadze, the literary critic, linguist and member of the first convocation of the supreme council of Georgia died at the age of 93.
