Georgian PM expresses condolences over Istanbul explosion

“On behalf of the Government and people of Georgia, I convey our deepest condolences over the Istanbul explosion to the people of Turkey, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan himself and the families of the victims. We wish a speedy recovery to all injured and pray for Turkey,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili wrote on Twitter.

Six people were killed and 53 others were wounded on Sunday when an explosion rocked a busy pedestrian street in central Istanbul.
