Georgian PM congratulates British Labor Party leader on winning elections

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze congratulated British Labor Party leader Keir Starmer on winning the General Elections.

“Congratulations to Keir Starmer on his victory in the General Elections of Great Britain! We express our heartfelt wishes for continued success in his new role as Prime Minister and stand ready to collaborate with his government to further enhance the fruitful and valuable Georgia-UK partnership,” he wrote on the X Platform.

According to the exit poll, after 14 years of Conservatives’ rule, the Labor Party won the early elections. Labor party will take up 410 seats in the 650-member House of Commons, and their leader, Keir Starmer, will become the country’s prime minister.
