Georgian new Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili condemned the recent attack on Formula TV journalist Vakho Sanaia in Tbilisi on Thursday.
PM vowed that the perpetrators would face criminal charges.
“I unequivocally condemn any kind of violence against any citizen, especially media representatives. I thank the Ministry of Internal Affairs for immediately arresting the attackers. I assure you that the state’s response will be adequate, and the criminals will be held fully accountable to the law,” PM stressed.
