Georgian PM attends launch of GLOBSEC

Irakli Garibashvili, Georgian Prime Minister attended the launch of an annual Bratislava Global Security Forum (GLOBSEC) today.

Róbert Vass, President of GLOBSEC launched the event today. High-ranking guests participating in the event were welcomed by Zuzana Čaputová, President of Slovakia; Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine and Ursula von der Leyen, President of the European Commission.

Main topic of the 17th Forum of GLOBSEC in 2022 is Solidified Global Security and National Resilience, Tangible Steps in Support of Ukraine and Empowered European Neighborhood. Also, delegates will be discussing the mobilization of western resources to strengthen national resilience.

Launch of the forum was also attended by Eduard Heger, Prime Minister of Slovakia along with heads of delegations, heads of states and governments from the participating countries. GLOBSEC 2022 has gathered delegates from 67 nations, including 10 Presidents and Prime Ministers. Also, Ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defense are attending from various countries.
