“Georgia is a developing democracy. We have a difficult post-Soviet past and we all understand that it may take years for reforms to verge on the European standards we aspire to achieve,” Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia said at the annual Development Partnership Forum.
The Prime Minister accentuated the priorities of the Georgian government, including security, economic development, infrastructure, and trade, human capital development (HCD), and Open Governance.
Giorgi Gakharia noted that “within the framework of aforementioned format, various international organisations or financial institutions allocated more than 7 billion dollars on Georgia’s reforms in 2018.”
The annual Development Partnership Forum was held in the Ceremonial Palace of Georgia today.
Members of the Government of Georgia, MPs, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia and donor organisations participated in the event.
