Georgian Patriarchate to send humanitarian relief to Ukraine

Humanitarian relief amounted to 15 tons will be sent to the Ukrainian people on behalf of the Georgian Orthodox Church.

Georgian Patriarch, His Holiness and Beatitude Ilia II wrote on Twitter that the parishioners collected the humanitarian aid in the last one week.

“Over the course of a week, more than 15 tons of humanitarian aid was collected in our parish and sent to the suffering people of Ukraine on behalf of the Georgian Orthodox Church. The process continues and relief supplies will be sent again in the near future,” Patriarch tweeted.
