Georgian Parliament delegation partakes in Euronest PA meetings in Yerevan

Georgian Parliament delegation, led by the EU Integration Committee Chair, Maka Bochorishvili, partook in the meetings of the Bureau and the Committees of the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly (PA) in Yerevan, the Parliament’s press office has said.

As part of the visit, Euronest PA Co-Chairs Maka Bochorishvili and Andrius Kubilius held a meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan.

The parties discussed the Eastern Partnership cooparation, current regional processes and security challenges. Ensuring peace and stability in the region was underscored at the meeting.

In a bid to deepen cooperation with Armenia, Maka Bochorishvili expressed readiness to work actively in various directions, stressed the importance of long-term stability for its further development and the close friendly relations between the two countries, the press statement reads.
