Georgian Officials wish happy Easter to those celebrating today

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and President Salome Zourabichvili sent their kind wishes to all celebrating Easter today.

Catholics, Evangelical Lutherans and Armenian Christians celebrate Easter on April 17 this year.

“I congratulate the Christian world on this greatest holiday – the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. I wish Happy Easter to the parish of the Roman Catholic Church, the Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church and the Evangelical Lutheran Church, all for whom this day is exceptionally treasurable,” reads the statement by Georgian PM.

“I congratulate all those who celebrate the glorious resurrection of Christ today, the triumph of life over death! May the joy of Jesus’ resurrection bring peace, kindness, and virtue to the earth, weary of war, wickedness, and pain!” President Zourabichvili wrote on the social network.
