Georgian National Figure Skating Team to participate in World Team Trophy competition for first time in history #1TVSPORT

The World Team Trophy 2025 in figure skating will be held in Tokyo, Japan, on April 17-20.

The ISU World Team Trophy is an international team competition in figure skating that takes place every two years, featuring the six best countries according to points accumulated in the ISU (International Skating Federation) world rankings throughout the season.

Each team consists of two men, two women, one pair team, and one ice dance couple. Athletes compete in their disciplines, and their results are counted as points in the team’s overall score.

In the 2025 World Team Trophy, Georgia will participate for the first time in history and compete alongside the world’s five best teams.

In addition to Georgia, the tournament participants include: the USA, Japan, Canada, France, and Italy.
