Georgian MPs meet Samegelo locals, residing at occupation line

First Vice Speaker Gia Volski and MPs Mikheil Sarjveladze, Genrieta Tsitsava, and Aleksandre Tabatadze met locals of Rukhi village, which is located near the Enguri Bridge and the occupation line in the Samegrelo region of Georgia, bordering the occupied Abkhazia.

The Parliamentary Human Rights and Civic Integration Committee organized the meeting within the framework of the 2024 action plan. The plan includes studying and responding to the needs of locals residing near the occupied territories.

The meeting was held with the support of Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti State Envoy Giorgi Guguchia and Zugdidi Municipality Mayor, Mamuka Tsotseria.
