Georgian MOD delegation attends Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting

Georgian delegation led by the Minister of Defence, Juansher Burchuladze, attended the meeting of the Contact Group for Ukraine (so-called Ramstein group), hosted by Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin III and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Army Gen. Mark A. Milley at Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

According  to the Ministry of Defense, high-ranking military officials and the Defence Ministers of over 50 like-minded countries took part in the meeting.

In his speech, Lloyd J. Austin stressed: ” The Kremlin is still betting that it can wait us out, but one year on, we are as united as ever. And that shared resolve will help sustain Ukraine’s momentum in the crucial weeks ahead and help Ukraine travel the challenging road that lies beyond.”
