Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs: During meeting with Turkish colleague, we reconfirmed our readiness to deepen cooperation between law enforcement agencies

“I am happy that today we reviewed key issues of cooperation between law enforcement agencies of Georgia and Turkiye and set prospects for its further deepening,” said Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs Sulkhan Tamazashvili, in a statement made for the media jointly with Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkiye Mustafa Çiftçi.

According to the Minister, Turkiye is a significant strategic partner for Georgia.

“Our countries are linked with many years of friendship, good neighborly relations and experience of multilateral cooperation. During today’s meeting, we reconfirmed readiness to further deepen cooperation between law enforcement agencies,” he said.

Minister of Internal Affairs of Turkiye Mustafa Çiftçi, accompanied by a delegation, is paying an official visit to Georgia at the invitation of Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs Sulkhan Tamazashvili.
