Georgian Law Enforcers detain Ukrainian citizen wanted under Interpol Red Notice

Officers from the Main Division for Combating Organized Crime of the Central Criminal Police Department and the Adjara Main Division of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, acting jointly, arrested a citizen of Ukraine who was wanted under an Interpol Red Notice.

The detained individual was wanted on a murder charge at the request of the law enforcement agencies of the Swiss Confederation. The individual was arrested in Batumi. Extradition procedures prescribed by law are currently underway.
