Georgian, Italian FMs sign joint declaration on high-level dialogue formation

Georgian Foreign Minister, Ilia Darchiashvili and his Italian colleague Antonio Tajani on Friday signed a joint declaration on the formation of a high-level dialogue between Georgia and Italy.

According to the Georgian MFA, FM Darchiashvili met with top Italian authorities during his visit to Rome.

As explained, the very dialogue reflects the dynamic cooperation between the two nations and reveals new perspectives of partnership.

As part of the declaration, the parties declare their clear intention to elevate current bilateral relations to a higher level and outline the future perspectives of mutually beneficial cooperation.

The said format consists of four topical areas, spanning political, defense and security, trade-economic, cultural, educational, and scientific domains.
