Georgian, Israeli FMs hold phone call

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Ilia Darchiashvili, held a phone conversation with Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid.

Yair Lapid congratulated Darchiashvili on his appointment and wished him success in his future endeavours.

The two FMs underscored the historic close friendship between countries and discussed the prospects for further partnership focusing on economic cooperation. Talks addressed regional security issues.

The MFA reported Friday that the Foreign Ministers of France, Germany, Estonia, Denmark and Switzerland also saluted Ilia Darchiashvili upon his appointment.
