Georgian Interior Minister meets with President of Kazakhstan
The Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze, held a meeting with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced this engagement.
According to the ministry, the discussion centred on the current cooperation between the two nations and the prospects for further strengthening their partnership across various areas. The parties emphasised Georgia’s transit role and the importance of working together to support the development of the Middle Corridor.
“The parties also addressed regional security challenges and underlined the necessity of enhanced cooperation to overcome these issues effectively,” the statement noted.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Minister Geladze expressed his gratitude to President Tokayev for his warm hospitality.
President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev hosted Geka Geladze at the Ak Orda residence.
The Georgian Minister of Internal Affairs is visiting Kazakhstan at the invitation of his counterpart, Kazakhstan’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Yerzhan Sadenov, the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs stated.
