Georgian Interior Minister holds official meeting with Turkish Minister of Internal Affairs
Georgia’s Minister of Internal Affairs, Geka Geladze, convened an expanded meeting with Ali Yerlikaya, the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Turkiye, during his official visit to Georgia.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the ministers from both nations discussed the progress and potential for fruitful cooperation between their respective law enforcement agencies. They underscored the importance of further strengthening the existing close partnership across various areas.
Geka Geladze expressed Georgia’s readiness to actively continue working alongside Turkish colleagues to make cooperation mechanisms even more flexible and effective. Both sides also committed to implementing relevant measures aimed at sharing expertise and best practices.
Concluding the talks, Geka Geladze warmly thanked his Turkish counterpart for the productive police cooperation.
