Georgian gov't in coordination with partners over Ukraine, Parliament Speaker says

Georgian Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili evaluated his first after appointment visit to Brussels, dubbing the meetings at NATO HQ as “successful.”

Remarking on the tense situation on the Ukrainian border, Papuashvili stressed, “the main task, shared by our partners, is to prevent war [in Ukraine]. Our government is in close coordination with partners; we act under this coordination and communication.”

The Speaker added, “We anew received support from our partners regarding the open door policy; over Georgia’s advanced positions as an aspirant country.”
