Georgian government to provide humanitarian aid to Ukraine, Parliament Speaker says

Georgian government studies humanitarian aid needs to Ukraine and will provide it upon request, said Shalva Papuashvili, Georgian Parliament Speaker.

According to Papuashvili, Georgia applies all international platforms and mechanisms in support of Ukraine to stop the war.

“For the last three days, Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chairman of the parliamentary Foreign Affairs Committee, participated in the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly in Vienna. Chairman of the Defense Committee, Irakli Beraia took part in the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, Chairperson of the European Integration Committee, Maka Bochorishvili participated in the Euronest Parliamentary Assembly. Discussions in all these formats focused on the security issues in Ukraine and the region,” Papuashvili said.
