“It is an important, timely visit. There are many issues to be discussed between the two main strategic partners”, said Georgian Foreign Affairs Minister David Zalkaliani about his visit to Ukraine.
“The two main directions are European and Euro-Atlantic. It is important to coordinate activities in these two main areas and plan joint steps. We expect the NATO Summit and the Eastern Partnership Summit soon.
I hope to further articulate our interests in the context of both NATO and the EU during these meetings. I am confident that we will see concrete, tangible results for Georgia and Ukraine in terms of the open-door policy and EU integration at the forthcoming summits,” FM said.
According to him, sides will discuss the situation in the occupied territories and conflicts’ resolution issues.
Georgian Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs, David Zalkaliani pays an official visit to Kyiv, Ukraine. He will participate in a meeting of the Foreign Ministers of three associated countries: Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine.
