FM Botchorishvili: Trilateral talks with Armenia, and Azerbaijan offer good opportunity for regional dialogue

“Today marked the inaugural deputy minister-level meeting among Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan. This dialogue, hosted by Tbilisi, is of great significance,” stated Georgia’s Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili.

The Minister emphasized that this trilateral format presents an excellent platform for discussing key regional issues.

“A meeting was held with the participation of representatives from the Foreign Ministries of Georgia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan, which is a good opportunity to discuss issues concerning our region. Georgia’s goal is to maximize our contribution to peace and stability in our region. Naturally, fostering relationships with both neighbours, Azerbaijan and Armenia, is crucial in this format. T This is the first time such a dialogue has occurred. We were able to engage in a working discussion on regionally significant topics. I hope that our collaboration will continue in this format, allowing us to continue discussions and work on issues important to all three countries in the future,” Botchorishvili stated.
