Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili met with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg at the meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers in Brussels on April 7.
FM Darchiashvili expressed gratitude for inviting partner countries, including Georgia, to the NATO Ministerial.
“The meeting stressed NATO’s firm support toward Georgia and its Euro-Atlantic integration. The parties exchanged views on the security environment in the region and reaffirmed their readiness to cooperate actively in the future,” the statement by the Georgia Foreign Ministry reads.
