Georgian FM meets Swedish colleague

Sweden’s Foreign Minister Tobias Billström hosted his Georgian colleague Ilia Darchiashvili, reviewing the close friendly relations between the two countries, as well as the cooperation agenda.

The duo paid attention to the issues pertaining to Georgia’s accession to the European Union, the country’s progress on this path, and current challenges.

The parties also discussed the security environment in the region. Sweden reaffirmed its unwavering support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
