Georgian FM meets his Portuguese counterpart

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili met his Portuguese counterpart João Gomes Cravinho on July 20.

The two foreign ministers spoke about the main trends of Georgia-Portugal cooperation.

Ilia Darchiashvili thanked João Gomes Cravinho for Portugal’s support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

He discussed Georgia’s EU integration process and progress in the fulfilment of the EC’s 12-point priorities.

Georgian FM expressed hope that Portugal will support Georgia’s granting the EU candidate status.
