Georgian FM meets his German colleague in New York

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili met his German colleague Annalena Baerbock while on a visit to New York.

The meeting focused on Germany’s support of Georgia’s EU integration path. The parties reviewed the opinion of the European Commission, which rated the country’s progress positively.

German Federal Foreign Minister reconfirmed support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The two foreign ministers welcomed Georgia-Germany bilateral relations dynamics and hailed the international community’s support for Ukraine.
