Georgian Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani met with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov within the framework of PM Irakli Garibashvili’s official visit in Azerbaijan.
The two Foreign Ministers spoke about Georgia-Azerbaijan bilateral relations, strategic partnership development and ongoing processes in the region. They accentuated better use of the geostrategic projects and coherent work for positioning purpose.
Foreign Ministers of Georgia and Azerbaijan discussed the need to resume work of the border delimitation commission. The parties expressed readiness to resolve the Davit Gareji rock monastery complex issue guided by strategic partnership spirit and bilateral interests.
The Ministers underlined successful cooperation in various regional and international platforms and stressed the efficiency of the Azerbaijan-Georgia-Turkey trilateral format.
