Georgian FM meets Finnish colleague

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili met with his Finnish counterpart, Elina Valtonen, during the NATO summit in Vilnius.

The parties reviewed the main cooperation issues between the countries in bilateral and multilateral formats and discussed strengthening the relationship.

The meeting focused on Georgia’s European and Euro-Atlantic integration. Ilia Darchiashvili informed his colleague about the work done on the EU integration path, including the fulfilment of the EC’s 12 recommendations.
