Georgian FM meets Azerbaijani colleague in Baku

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili met with his Azerbaijani colleague Jeyhun Bayramov in Baku.

As the ministry’s press office said, “Darchiashvili expressed gratitude to his colleague for the excellent organization and warm reception provided by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as part of the trilateral cooperation format between Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.”

“The meeting underscored the significant importance of this format for regional development and highlighted its role.

The ministers discussed the current agenda of the strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan, giving high appraisal to the official visit of the Prime Minister of Georgia and the scheduled high-level meetings in Baku on March 16, which will further enhance the momentum and dynamics of the bilateral strategic partnership,” reads the press statement.
