Georgian FM meets Austrian counterpart

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili met with his Austrian counterpart Alexander Schallenberg during the visit of the Georgian PM-led delegation to Austria.

The conversation focused on building up dynamics of relations between the two countries. The meeting underlined that granting a European perspective to Georgia was a historic decision, which confirmed that Georgia is part of Europe and its future lies in the European Union.

Ilia Darchiashvili thanked his Austrian colleague for supporting Georgia’s European aspirations and vowed that the country would actively work to fulfil the recommendations by the European Council.
