Georgian FM: Liechtenstein's FM visit to be valuable support at crucial period
Georgian Foreign Minister, Ilia Darchiashvili, described the visit of Liechtenstein’s Minister of Foreign Affairs as a significant expression of support, particularly during a crucial period for the country and in the face of security challenges in the region.
Speaking at a joint press conference following the meeting with Liechtenstein’s FM Dominique Hasler, Darchiashvili emphasized Liechtenstein’s active backing for Georgia’s territorial integrity.
Darchiashvili stated that Liechtenstein’s support is highly valued and crucial for Georgia, especially in the current regional context.
“The minister visited the occupation line yesterday. This is critical for us. I would commend her for her strong support for Georgia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty,” Darchiashvili said.
During the meeting, the two ministers discussed the complex and challenging situation in the region.
“We talked about the challenging situation in the region, how small countries can strengthen cooperation and bilateral relations. We explored ways to address global security challenges and ensure peace and security for our countries,” Darchaishvili added.
