Georgian FM hosts Hungarian Justice Minister

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili on Wednesday hosted Hungarian Justice Minister Judit Varga, who is visiting Georgia.

According to the MFA, the parties talked about ways to further enhance bilateral and multilateral collaboration as well as current issues between the two nations’ relations.

The duo stressed Georgia’s EU integration process. Varga received thorough information about the nation’s progress in implementing the 12 objectives.

The FM expressed optimism that Georgia’s efforts would be fairly recognized and that the nation will be granted EU candidate status by year’s end.

Darchiashvili thanked Varga for Hungary’s unwavering support of Georgia’s application for EU candidate status.
