Georgian FM holds phone conversation with Azerbaijani counterpart

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Maka Botchorishvili, held a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Jeyhun Bayramov, the Georgian Foreign Ministry reported.

According to the ministry, Botchorishvili expressed deep concern over the drone attack in the Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, which resulted in several people being injured.

“The Minister stressed the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region.

The ministers once again reaffirmed the strength of the strategic partnership and friendly relations between Georgia and Azerbaijan,” the statement said.
