Georgian FM: economic cooperation with US to be as comprehensive as defense, security, politics
Georgia wants economic cooperation with the United States to be at the level of defense, security, and politics, Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani declared, referring to the US Under Secretary Keith Krach’s interview with VOA.
“Georgia, as a country, aspires to Europe and NATO, and naturally, we are in line with the priorities of our foreign policy strategy. Our economy must be in full compliance with our actions too,” FM added.
“The economic dimension is one of the main directions of the Georgia-US Strategic Partnership Charter. We will do our best to make significant, tangible progress, both in terms of the 5G US-Georgia memorandum and the development of free trade with the United States,” said David Zalkaliani.
US Under Secretary said in an interview that the US and Georgia need to work out a business plan.
